QT™ Electrostatic Quadrupole Triplet
DTE’s QT™ electrostatic quadrupole triplet employs true hyperbolic electrodes to create an aberration-free focusing field across the full aperture of the lens. Our design insures precision alignment of all electrodes, yielding near-theoretical performance.
In addition to the standard models at aperture sizes of 25mm, 60mm, and 80mm, DTE is able to quickly design and fabricate custom quadrupole lens systems. Contact DTE to discuss the requirements of your specific application.
Advantages
- Reduced aperture size and required excitation voltage relative to conventional cylindrical lens systems
- All metal and ceramic construction is UHV compatible and bakeable to 150°C
- All systems are delivered with standard Conflat vacuum flanges, and four or six high-voltage feedthroughs, depending on whether steering capabilities are desired
